When I joined the team at Think Forward the current website was due to be refreshed. I collaborated with the team to turn the new design into a functioning website to showcase our skills as a digital agency.

Cats and Dogs

The Cats & Dogs Dinner Company has an established e-commerce solution but over time the website had become bloated, unwieldy, difficult to navigate and confusing for visitors. An overhaul of design and functionality was needed to make the site more intuitive for visitors to use.

My role was to run the development of the project including:

  • Information Architecture documentation and planning
  • Collaboration with in-house UI Designer
  • UI creation on the Wordpress platform from an Adobe XD design
  • Creation of a clean foundation from the previous website
  • Manage synchronisations of orders, subscriptions and customers
  • Integrate with 3rd party POS solutions

The Box Business

I worked as part of a small team to create The Box Business. This is a website where users can design and order their own printed boxes. I was the sole Web Developer on this project working alongside a Product Developer and a UI Designer.

There were many elements to this project including:

  • Develop a marketing website on the Wordpress platform
  • Create an online shop with XMPie uStore
  • Work with Adobe InDesign files to create VDP products
  • Upload VDP products to the XMPie uStore online portal
  • Use basic SEO techniques to increase organic traffic
  • Create and maintain Google Ads campaigns
